IKE MCCORKLE IS FIGHTING FOR COLORADO'S FUTURE
MEET IKE MCCORKLE: Marine. Father. Patriot. Democrat.
Ike McCorkle, a battle-hardened Force Recon Marine and devoted father of four, carries a legacy steeped in service and patriotism. With a long family history of lives dedicated to the ideals of duty, honor, and sacrifice, Ike’s story is one of unwavering commitment to country and family.
His drive to serve has brought him to a new battlefield: running for Congress in Colorado’s 4th District. Ike’s campaign will fight to elect a representative with integrity, loyalty, and true patriotism to restore dignity to our Congressional office.
RURAL POLICES
Ike McCorkle is a retired Marine Corps Officer who knows that food safety is part of national security. Ike will fight for Colorado family farmers and farm workers, and against big agribusiness monopolies. Colorado deserves better, and Ike McCorkle is answering that call to service. Together, we can bring dignity back to the CD4 Congressional office.
With smart agricultural practices, agriculture and production agriculture can become net carbon and methane sinks. Increasingly agricultural policy and sustainable practices are developed by partnering scientists and universities (like those at Colorado State) with our farming and ranching communities. These partnerships can and will improve production and turn agriculture and industries in America and all over the world into net carbon sinks.
Ike proposes we model a federal “right to repair” bill after the bill passed by the Colorado Legislature last session protecting Colorado farmers’ right to repair their equipment and preventing tyrannical monopolistic practices by Big Agriculture.
- Federal Right to Repair Bill: Allows Farmers and Ranchers to repair their equipment without voiding coverage and allows farmers to have their equipment repaired by non corporate facilities. This creates a competitive market where Big Agribusiness cannot gouge farmers and Ranchers with inflated equipment repair costs.
- Federal Fertilizer and Equipment Subsidies Assistance Program: Direct additional funding for the development of American produced precursors for fertilizers and equipment.
- Family Farm and Rancher’s Legacy Protection Act: Protecting Mom-and-Pops from losing their family farm or ranch. Elderly farmers and Ranchers that end up on fixed incomes and veterans should not lose their property and homes. We will support a federal and state tax relief act for our elderly citizens, veterans, farmers, and ranchers that qualify. No family farmer or rancher should lose their land.
