All participants should be at parade staging area no later than 8:30 as parade begins at 9. All participants must sign a waiver at the staging area to participate. The parade route is a mile and a quarter if you plan to walk it, so plan accordingly with appropriate shoes, hat and water. It would be great to have a large presence in the parade so bring or send as many as you can. Children under age 10 can not participate in riding or walking in parade. You must wear the wrist ban given at registration through the entire parade and no one can hand out or throw any items during course of parade, but you can greet those watching and interact with watchers.
After the 4th of July Parade, the Weld County Democrats will be hosting a Pot Luck around Noon at Wynne and Rick’s at 2455 22nd Avenue. No Barbeque, but we will have warmers and coolers as needed for food. You are welcome to drop off your goodies before the parade!
